Cardboard--Games--Christmas Party

Every year my Uncle Tom puts on quite a christmas party, WOW! He expects hundreds of kids. Of course if just all "MY" family shows up we would be talking about 90 children right there since my mom is one of 15 kids herself. But he is amazing! He has been doing this for maybe 5 yrs now? Anyway he wanted to start a fun tradition for all kids...So every yr he puts on a couple of parties. This yr it was at the Moose Lodge. Anyway, What he does is collect all these big and small sheets of cardboard and creates games and little houses etc. of it and paints them like wood! To look at his stuff you would think no way that is cardboard! It is just amazing!! Well last night was that party, every kid plays the games and every kid gets a prize for EVERY game! He spent ALOT of money on this. All kids have a blast after all who wouldn't? Theres always a visit from santa, last yr he brought his elves... They provide hot dogs, pumpkin rolls, and cut out cookies...He even made a little movie theater that you can sit in and watch the gingerbread man story on TV told by Gabbie in Gabbies movie theater with bags of popcorn already made up for enjoyment! He thought of it all! Next yr he has a new fresh vision, still the same concept but a new thing added! He is thinking already!!!He told me what it is and im excited! He made 3 new "houses" 1 is where the kids go in and Pick a present for mom or dad and they wrap it themselves....I think that is grt as my kids always want to do this anyway! And then they have crafts...this yr they decorated a towel for display of a snowman, very nice! and painted their own snowman ornament! Last yr they made a wreath!
anway I have pictures to post of the "CARDBOARD" ...
Enjoy!

cool displays!

We saw Bill outside the Lodge that afternoon and he invited us in, but there was already too much going on that day for us. Sorry we missed it.
