We got so much snow! 14 inches total! It started Tuesday and kept on going through wednesday!O my goodness! Dear husband had to still go to work wednesday so he thought! So his honoring wife( That would be ME) Got up with him and shoveled at 4:30 am! I tried so hard to keep up with the porch! He did the snow blower else where... But after 5 times of shoveling the porch BEFORE I went to bed I was a little in shock to see THIS! You see my dear husband is a truck driver and delivers those Mc Donald Buns....I just could not imagine ANYBODY going to Mc Donalds in this weather so why on earth weren't they canceling the routes? Well he went in Tuesday (LATE Monday night like 1am) usually this is his short day home by 1pm, not this day he got home with white knuckels at almost 6pm! And was relieved instead of going back out at midnight he was to go out around 5am! WELL...after leaving the house around 6am...and I must Say I don't know HOW he did it, as the driveway and the road looked the same before he plowed the drive. No plows had been on the road yet. Some dear person with a 4 wheel drive did make somewhat of a path for him I guess though. Anyway by 9am he was home plowing the drive again:) I think They came to their sences as most businesses were closed down that day. Including the mail! anyway snow snow snow! I can't say anyone has really enjoyed it much however! It did look beautiful coming down. If you don't have to get in it, it is great lovely, BUT reality does set in! Jelena was home sick with an ear ache for a couple days, ending the week with Adam throwing up, kids bickering and fighting all week made me rejoice for school today! (sigh of relief)! The limit of days have been used so lets get down to brass tax for the rest of the school yr! I did enjoy not leaving the house in fact I REALLY enjoyed leaving my pj's on all day long! I was a sight but who cares...This is something I really enjoy doing once a year! And I took advantage of this time to Clean out Jelena's room my little pack rat! we worked a whole day on it and got rid of almost a contractors trash bag FULL! that is scary!
heres the back

It's gorgeous. I'd be so excited if we got that much snow, I'd throw a party! I'm so used to living through blizzard after blizzard on the eastern side of Colorado that I really miss is now that we live on the western side.
You're very lucky and your photos just made me sigh with longing.
He he.. next time be careful what you're wishing for! I had always wanted to dip my hands in the snow..
Oh my! 14 inches - all I can say is oh my. I hate to tell you it hit 74 today and it was bright and sunny. I feel your pain - I remember the snow when I lived back east. Pretty pictures.
