TEA PARTY
Our church ladies threw a tea party yesterday. It was very nice, heres a photo of me before leaving...
It was for mothers and daughters, it was a nice time and nice Jelena was able to come... It was a dress up occasion, "Don't Forget to wear a hat"
When we arrived these were at each place setting with name tag, honestly they looked way to cute to eat, but of course we did:) Everything was nicely decorated, and the tea cups they had laying out were gorgeous, very festive! We ate things like, little banana bread shaped like flowers, topping also for them yummy! The yummiest cucumber sandwiches, Fruit, wow fruit of all kinds and lots of it, 2 kinds of dips for them including chocolate!Homeade buckeyes, pecan tarts, and another little cookie, I THINK that was it, and the teas...oh the teas, they had strawberry, peach, lipton, and Blueberry. I had the blueberry and also tried the peach which was VERY good! AND they were even served with sugar cubes, how lovely! We played a couple of fun games and were sang a song by 4 of them there, along with a little devotion time and discussion with our groups, It was a very uplifting time for all!

NOW onto the next exciting part of the day MICHELLE, to my surprise she calls me from time to time maybe 4 times in the last 15 yrs? Yup she found me a few yrs back, and has been talking to me once or twice a yr. she lives a few hrs away so I havent seen her in like 15 yrs...Well last night Bill and I went out for our once a month date after getting home and listening to the answering machine I heard Michelle's voice on there, she was staying at a local hotel so I went to see her, wow! She still looks great and pretty much the same! She has 4 boys, we talked a couple hrs but it was late so PLEASE don't pay ANY attention to how I look!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here is her...
We were good friends in the high school and both went on to the vocational school where we both took up cosmetology, It was so nice to see her after all these yrs...
What a busy day! I worked from 8 am to 1pm then went home got ready for the tea 2-4 then off to having time with Bill till 9pm then off to see Michelle till 11...wow! what a day! It was a nice fun filled VERY busy day!

What fun a mom & daughter tea party. You both look great...love the hats. How nice for you to meet up with an old friend...I love surprises like that.
My aunts church has a mother/daughter tea each year. Me & the girls went last year. Not quite as fancy though. How wonderful! You guys looked beautiful. And the spread looked lovely I agree too good to eat. I just ran into a high school friend last month that I hadn't seen in 10yrs. I love reunions with old pals. How very nice:)

Yes I must agree too that the teacups looked way too cute & pretty and by the way, sorry for asking again but what is homemade buckeyes? Sounds interesting.

That tea party looks like it was fun! You two look so beautiful! Its great that you got to see an old friend. It gets so hard to do that once people move and have kids.
