Yesterday I took a trip to Cedar Point by myself. I discovered I am not as young as I used to be. Rides I couldn't ever get enough of were starting to really bother my stomach. Am I getting old? I rode 6 roller coasters and the 6th one was probably 1 of the mildest ones and rode it half way with my eyes closed as I really ALMOST lost it! Next time I will have to take dramamine?
We got season Passes This past christmas and I thought I would take advantage of some "ME" time before school is out and lines are too long to stand in...so these are the 13 rides I have always enjoyed! The 1st 6 are the ones I rode in that order...
2. Magnum
3. cork screw
4. millenium
5. wild cat
6. iron dragon
7. Gemini
8. Raptor
9. Mantis
10. Disaster Transport
11. Blue Streak
12.Demon Drop
13. Power Tower
Theres a brand new huge ride out new this year but not opening till June 1. Called Maverick... Honestly I got to some how get my stomach intuned to these again. any Ideas?

I love rollercosters at cidar point, I haven't rode the millenium yet though.. It has been a few years since we have gone to CP, and the last time I went none of my kids were big enough to ride rollercosters and since I'm not a fan of riding alone and DH and I were the only ones able to watch the kids I didn't ride to many, I think only 3.. I just hate standing in line without someone there to talk with and it feels weird getting into a ride by yourself(or to me it does LOL) or having a stranger placed in the car with you. So I like to take a rider along with me..
This year 2 of my kids are tall enough to ride but only Mr Man will do it with me because Princess is a chicken LOL.. But Before kids DH and I lived at CP got the passes every year and would do nothing but ride costers all day long together..
I hear ya on the tummy thing though.. the last time I went I was starting to feel sick on the few I did ride, I don't know why either I never had the trouble before.
OH and one more interesting thing.. DH wanted Little Man's middle name to be Mavrick LOL..
Too fun!!! Becca would have loved to do that!!
I don't see slow-moving carousel on that list. So this is NOT my kind of place. LOL
Are you kidding me? SIX roller coasters? No way. I'd be hanging my head over the toilet for a week.
:-)
Wow, I am in awe of you! I wish I could just get a pass to enter the park without riding anything. I get soo sick.
What a fun idea to go my yourself.
My dad is home and feeling better.
I have yet to ride a rollercoaster even though I've been to Disneyland in USA & Paris :) Not as brave as you Tina
Hey, have a wonderful weekend.
I used to love all the rides too, except for one that stopped while we were upside down and one that we stuck to the sides while we spun around and the floor dropped down. Now that I'm older, there aren't many that I like. They all seem so jerky. Great TT!
