My Daughter got 4th place in the running at her school. I was proud of her as she got the 4th fastest in her school ( 1st-4th grade) She was so excited she had me and Grandma come watch this exciting moment! I thought it was cool being the only girl;)
Sitting with her friends, during the awards ceremony...She got an award for being on safety patrol, A's n B's in math, and Perfect A's in spelling. Great job Jelena! We are so proud of you!

u wld hav been proud of her even if she had gotten the last place. that's what i instill in my children, it's not the placing (tho it's nice to win) but the fact that u hav participated.

I have to say I was jealous of your ability to actually lay in the sun yesterday! I am gonna be so worn out this year trying to watch my 3 in the water!! AHH!
