Tackle It Tuesday

BIG and I mean BIG Tackles today! We worked from sunrise to sunset to get all this accomplished! 1st off I been wanting to clean this closet in our kitchen...After cleaning it out I could not believe how bad the wall looked so THEN I had to do some painting. I had some paint to use up so no big deal. Here is what it looked like before...I forgot to take a photo of the after, but if you click on the up close photo of the complete finished closet you will see it looks much better! This is from all the shoes and boots that get thrown in there...

This is how bad the rest of the closet looked, sorta a catchall closet, I am beginning to think ALL my closets are catch alls;)

Here is the after results, and dont look at my paint job to closely as I Didn't get as well near the top, mainly was concerned with the bottom half!

This is why it needed painted AND cleaned! It has been a struggle to put the vacuum cleaner in here... REDICULOUS!

And WALA! Here is the after shot notice how much brighter it looks!??!!

Ok, onto the medicine/recipe book cupboard. This gets out of hand time to time... Before...

OK, now it is time to get the family involved for some BIG Tackles! Just look how bad we are need to mulch! I would have took more before photos but I didn't want to remind myself any more how bad this looks! I think We always mulch near end of may. So this is late for us...Here is the before shot!

The family is involved in this project today no doubt! Are they happy about doing this fun job?

Kedric had a bad moment here. He really did enjoy filling the wheelbarrow with mulch and bringing it to me as it was my job to spread. Jelena did some sweeping, and a little loading the barrow also...

Adam enjoyed loading the barrow better, BUT we mainly had him pulling weeds, with me! Doesn't he look thrilled. My children are not big on work! Kedric is my hard working man.

He is 6 and would rather work out in the yard doing whatever is hard work! I catch him at peoples houses all the time sweeping grass of the sidewalks and then he gets blessed with money that he doesn't seem to really even care about:) lol! This goes to show you that you need to start them YOUNG!

I even managed to paint these seats that were needing something! they are now bright white!

NOW for another HUGE tackle! THE GARAGE! This has been needing a major change! We are going to rearange it a bit too...So this is BEFORE!

My DH and 6 yr old Kedric pressure washed it. This was a huge job!

Here is the after shot. It was quite a job moving this heavy stuff around!

I am happy to say it looks and FEELS MUCH better! Now this is what it looks like with my van in it! Well folks, those are my tackles for Today. We were all tired after this!!! A good Day with Great accomplishments! Hope you can be inspired and get your tackles completed...Have a great day!
