Jungle Jims is a Grocery shopping experience...It is 7 acres under the roof, no kidding! Scroll down and see more... Samples are laying around everywhere to try all sorts of great stuff, Here is some Gypsy Salami and cheese cubes from Switzerland...YUMMY!
Well thats our trip to Jungle Jims...it took us 2 hrs to go through it and this was my 3rd time there...the bathrooms are very cool! you can see if you click on jungle jims at the top of this post... This is the talking Campbell soup can, he swings on a swing and talks and sings every so many min...so cute! Where else can you be entertained while you shop?
Here is some more entertainment! The cereal gang...this is another item that sings...
ok, ok!
This place carries all sorts of items, international as well! They have every kind of cheese from all different countries too! They have some stuff I would not be interested in such as pig feet, cow tongue etc etc! I know some people like this stuff but as for me it makes my legs queezy so I totally avoided that section THIS time....I learn quick;)
YUMMY!!!! I so had to buy these, they were NOT cheap by any means but SO sweet and delicious, and since we ARE trying to eat healthier now I felt buying cherries was a good idea...Below is a photo of some PLUOTS...anyone know what a pluot is? it is a cross between a plum and an apricot and they had samples to try, I personally thought they were like the best fruit ever, ahem....so had to get several of em....;)
Below was ELVIS entertaing...
Adam had to try out the Mexican hats...They were very neat!
HOT SAUCE! The hot sauces here are absolutely AMAZING! They have like every kind you can think of and the craziest names...several are just down right too obsene to even post here...but we always spend a bit of time in this section checking them out... We settled on the cheapest ones....99 cents (below)
The prices range from .99-20.00...These were kinda funny, read them...
DH is looking on at some sauces here(notice the smile on his face? well I can tell)...you can see here, all there is but times 2 as the other side is just as full! WOW thats alot of hot sauce! It is such a novelty item too...
Time for another sample, To try the refried beans this lady was making up mini nacho bites of taco shell, lettuce, beans, meat, cheese, salsa, delicious!
Here is what it looked like! want some?
They also have wine cruises...they had some discounted wine we bought some and beer, they even had some clearanced alcohol with nutritional stuff in it and caffiene too...we bought 4 cans as they were on sale for 25 cents each but it still blows my mind to make an alcohic drink be a energry booster! hmmmmm....

Great menu, everything looks yummy!!!
Now THAT is the kind of grocery store I could get lost in....did they have any portuguese items???
♥Sandra
what a great looking meal plan and I love all of those photos you shot!! Have a wonderful week, Tina.
Where is that place? I would love to go there!
Jungle Jims is near cincinnat in Fairlawn and there is only 1...really neat place!
That sounds like a wonderful place. When we lived in North Olmsted, there was a place called, "Danny Boys" that wasn't nearly as big as Jungle Jim's, but it had unique stuff in it.
Man, I wish it was closer...
Do I feel a ROAD TRIP coming on?! I think us girls should go check it out!
Elvis looks like the old "Elvis-dog" from Chuck E CHeese! AHHH Memories!lol
The Drive in was the best! For 12 bucks, we saw 2 movies and a BIG popcorn is only $3! Its only $6/adults and free for kids up to age 12! So WORTH IT!
Yes! I want to go to Jungle Jim's now!! Man. We're in the Toledo area...so what, about 4 hours away? 3? I want to go there!! lol
Great menu, too. Thanks for posting.
Wow that place lots like lots of fun. I would love it.
Wow! That store is unbelievable! I have never been in anything like that, we don't have that kind of stuff here in Maine. Another yummy menu and those squares make my mouth water. What kind of bread was that in the pans? That was nice you had a good weekend. The Praise and Worship time sounds wonderful and I'm sure you felt refreshed and inspired after. There's nothing like a really good praise and worship time!! Nice that you get together with other churches too.
I tried and tried to find some palm tree fabric when I was in Flordia in May. Thought they would have it for sure somewhere but couldn't find ANY!
