WE GOT A DOG! Today My DH drove almost 2 hrs to his sisters to pick up Maddy!
She is now going to be our dog! I never been much into pets....I used to love cats but anymore with our 2 box turtles it has been plenty for me with 3 kids and a Home to tend too...Well SIL is having serious health issues so we have inherited Maddy just 4 yrs old...Now I have NO clue how to take care of a dog! She is a Beagle...Well she is starting to bark and at almost midnight...hmmm I better go...ugh...HELP!

Congratulations!! She will just need a few days to adjust. Do you use a crate? She may get stressed out being in a new place and chew so make sure you put her somewhere safe when you can't keep an eye on her. Good Luck!
She is a cutie pie. My dog use to bark when she needed to go "out" to go to the bathroom or when she heard a noise outside. She was very protective. I miss her. I hope you enjoy the new addition to your home. You'll see you will become attached before you know it.

Dogs are a great addition to a family. It will be ok once the original shock wears off. If you ever need any help, just call...we have 4 at our house!!!!
