Tackle It Tuesday

Yesterday and today I have had alot of tackling to do! I had to bleach 3 bathrooms, clean kitchen, (including scrub the floor on my hands and knees)do 10 loads of laundry and finish painting Jelenas room...Now Today I need to do some banking, need to buy carpet shampoo, shampoo Jelenas carpet, and living room, finish up those 10 loads of laundry, dust and vacuum the rest of the house!

I know you are all dying to see a sneak peak at Jelenas room. Well it is being painted a lime green color. The color is called Lime Rickey. It is bright but will look so cool when it gets put together! We came across a small nightmare when I was removing the border... There was a wet spot on the ceiling.Yes it is a hole! DH stuck his finger through it and yup indeed theres wet insolation up there so we are waiting on a guy to come out and drill holes up in the attic so we can even get to it, and get that fixed! Always something indeed;) So yes her ceiling WAS yellow in which I found the perfect combination of paints and paper to match to keep it that way but will have to find something close to it to match up some nicks and this hole! Now we are waiting to hear when the wallpaper and border are in and will hopefully have my wonderful parents come do this sunday! They do a fabulous job wallpapering and they are a great team!!!! Dad does all the math work cutting and measuring etc, mom puts it up... we are putting it up along the bottom half of 3 walls! I had to paint her blue walls white 1st so the green would come out as the right shade! over to the right are beads these we purchased to replace the door in her closet. She will have the coolest room when it is completed. I know you must be thinking this is so bizarre...just wait and see! Well hope everyone feels prosperous today! Happy Tuesday!

Good thing that you found the problem before it got too big. I have seen so many rooms with that lime green with black and white accents. It looks striking! I'm not sure what my husband would think of it if I tried it. Ha!

Hope the problem gets resolved quickly.
