Well Indeed it was a lovely Mothers Day here! I was hoping to have my DH grill out today but due to rain I came up with a 2nd plan! I cooked! I made an interesting assortment of nutricious foods! We had Sugar free black cherry jello with mandrin oranges and strawberries in it, Chicken Avocado, grapefruit spinach salad ,Stuffed peppers, sauteed carrots and zucchini in olive oil, THEN for dessert I made an easy no bake chocolate strawberry cheesecake pie...
MY MOTHER!
My mother is a wonderful Woman Of God! She is a Pastor and a wonderful person! She is a woman of many talents! This woman can cook! She is a great baker as well and her pies are absolutely amazing! She does a beautiful job wrapping my gifts for all occasions! She also does an amazing job sewing things up for me, pillows, curtain valences etc! OH and the decorating and wallpapering! I am blessed To have a mom that is an encourager and so patient with me!I am so Blessed to have my mom in my life! I thank you Jesus for Blessing me with a wonderful set of parents I am still proud of today! I love you mom!
For Mothers Day I was Blessed to have my mother and MIL over! I was Able to Bless my MIL with a perm( her request) doesn't she look great?!!! and My mom a Pedicure( her request) My parents stayed, and while I was doing my moms pedicure my father was craving brownies So I whipped some brownies up and while watching the movie AUGUST RUSH
we enjoyed eating Hot Fudge Brownie sundaes! They were so yummy! Sorry I would have taken a photo but we all ate them to quickly;) So here is my MIL on the left, me and my mom on the right!
So let me tell you how sweet my kiddos are! My sweet Daughter Jelena got up at 5AM thats right, (the one who would prefer sleeping in 5 min before the bus comes) Well she wanted so bad to surprise me with breakfast in bed! Knowing I get up so early every morning ( 6am) she wanted to beat me to it! Bless her heart! I noticed the kitchen light on and sent her back to bed as I was no way getting up before 7:30...So the breakfast didn't happen, Then Adam got up at 8 and felt so bad he overslept as HE wanted to make ME breakfast in bed! AWWWW, honestly I don't eat much breakfast and I NEVER had it in bed! None the less it was a sweet thought! Maybe just maybe it could happen next year??
Jelena got me a necklace and pin and a cute card, Kedric gave me a cute card filled with hershey kisses and a photo of him holding flowers;) cute!
My Dear very DEAR husband has been wonderful keeping all the dishes washed up, I think he is on his 4th big load! I also told him I wanted a Foot rub ! I hope that is still yet to come!;) I hope everyone had a wonderful Day!I had a Blessed Day! Blessings to everyone!

Oh Mother's Day sound a really big celebration there in your full house! I love it when you pamper your mom, dad and in-laws..you're truly amazing..and your kids (and hubby) know how to pamper you too! We don't celebrate much here but I sent money to my brother to buy flowers and a handbag for my mom since we can't be there..and she loves it! That's enough to make my day..Hmm...now you remind me that I deserve pedicure too. You are such a perfect mom with all that cooking talent and 'pampering talent'. Envy here..

Funny - we watched August Rush yesterday also. I liked it even though it was predicable - it was a feel good movie.
