Time To Tackle!

Well This has been a busy week of painting our garage! We painted the walls white and the floor a gray sealing paint! What a job! This is a photo of the walls before we started!
Here I am painting with a smile on my face! Honestly I think we picked the hottest week to do this as it was in the low 90's!
DH was painting around the door and door frame, normally I get the tedious parts...
Now onto the floor! This is what it looked liked before...
see the transformation in action...
DH hard at work, Don't you love watching a man work;) Isn't he doing a fabulous job?! It was a huge job! Because it was so hot and sticky it took twice as long to dry when he THOUGHT it was enough to move stuff back in it scuffed the paint and then he had to touch up again! Now we are on the hunt for OH State Buckeye Stuff as he is turning the room into this! Stay tuned for the final result! Hopefully next week!
Other things on my list today are we are painting this stuff on my back room floor in the basement, I am walking a week with a dear friend down the street at 7:15 am this week all week long, and then I need to go with Bill to the Dr. for a final check up on his knee, coming home to clean, Kedric starts his swimming lessons later today!

Good job! I actually like to paint, but way too hot here to do so right now. My tackle it Tuesday is the green bean brigade!

What a great tackle! It is amazing how a coat of paint and a little elbow grease can transform a room (or garage, in this case!)

What a hot, smelly job! You have lots of determination to do it in that kind of heat!
