“Prayer is the key to Heaven, but faith unlocks the door.”
Yesterday morning I Received Some ever so terrifying news. This boy Daniel was killed by a drunk driver while bike riding in the evening near Campus. Only 18 years old. He had only been to college ( out of state)for a couple weeks. This fine young man is the son of my Pastor and Mama Lilly.
This Boy was every moms dream child. He was the oldest of 7children. He was Helpful, loving, giving, incredibly smart, with amazing talent in music. He lead our Praise and worship team in church. He was on fire for God. His Parents can be proud, He was an inspiration to us all!
He had many great talents, he was in plays and musicals. Here is a photo of him in the musical Oklahoma... In college he was in 2 singing groups, jazz band and cycling club/team...You can read his blog here This Boy was every moms dream child. He was the oldest of 7children. I know God has a plan and purpose. None the less this is a tragic thing for all who knew him! He will no doubt be sorely missed! This just goes to show you how precious and fragile life is. Make The most of each new day and live life to the fullest! I know he did! Many Blessings go out to the family!

so heart breaking! I remember you writing about him before. As it says in the bible death is a sting and it seems like this death sure will be a sting to many people.
(((((HUGS)))))
How very sad. Many hugs and prayers to you and his family!
How are you doing Tina?? I emailed Mama Lilly yesterday letting her know they were all in my prayers.. My heart is just breaking for them.. when I picked up the paper yesterday afternoon I just started to cry. I too did my faith-lift this week about this.
I Know how much you loved him and how much he meant to you.. So I have been keeping you in my prayers also..
I'm so sorry! I remember the picture you posted with him from the party and remember thinking he really looked like a nice guy. What a loss. It is so hard to see with clear vision when tragedies happen so close to our hearts, but God is bigger than the tragedy and will give strength to those left behind and will turn this sad time into many blessings.
Tina, I hope you are doing okay. I'm trying to go during the calling hours today. We are certainly praying for the family. I can't imagine anything more difficult to go through.
I am keeping this family and you in my prayers. What a sad, sad thing to happen. This fine young man is now with Jesus and I hope you all can find some comfort in that. xoxoxox

Such a tremendous loss. I will pray for his poor family.
Oh Tina...I am so sad to read this and what a tragic accident indeed. I'll be praying for the family.
How sad that such a young man with so much was taken way too early. I pray for his family and friends who are grieving his loss.
