Well it was a friday evening out to Mickey D's! We used it as a reward for Kedric to do well on his school work and extra tutoring he has been getting. Adam had an officially lousy birthday as he mentioned it to a couple teachers, then they acknowledged it. Most kids in school didn't believe him ( why?) it was his birthday and his closest friends didn't remember. So he was bummed. I told Adam I felt bad as I wanted his 13th birthday to be more special, but face it thats how it is when you get older!!! I couldn't make a big deal of it(actual day- thursday night) as I had conferences all evening. So we will have a very small party sunday and next weekend he can have a few friends spend the night. But for now he really wanted a Mig Mac So I Think Friday made up for it! Jelena is the Air Hockey champ! She beat me, Bill and Adam bearly! Kedric was going to face me a game but enjoyed the video games too much;)
We finished the evening by getting the movies Indiana Jones and Get Smart.

Below is a photo of Bill and Adam playing their 4th game...They were just goofy! Playing with their eyes shut etc...Poor Bill had been up since midnight working and totally crashed at 6:30 when we got home!

I hope that Mickey D's made up a little for his forgetful friends. Kids are SO like that - way into themselves. Guess that is why we have family and friends to boost us up.

Oh that's sad that his friends forgot, but it's hard at that age with parties during a school night. What a good mom you are to make it up to him.
