Today we surprised my uncle Tom by having a surprise Birthday party for his 50th! They rented a hall in order to fit everyone. However many did not show and well...lets just say it was a very interesting party, like no other! He was much surprised! His sons Birthday just happened to be TODAY. My uncle Toms is actually Monday! So he was thinking the whole time there was going to be a party for his son!;)

so you are probably wondering why this Birthday party was like no other? Well it is the strangest thing! We all got our food, sat down to eat then bam, all the lights went out! We could see electricity around the area but not in the hall where we were at! So ALL The photos you see were taking in the pitch black dark! Food tastes better when you can see what you are eating too!;) luckily many kids had their DS's and a few managed to carry little flash lights and cell phones for a little light! What a bummer for them to go through all that work! We never did get to play Corn Hole or Karaoke...My Aunt said when the lights came on they were going right for the Karaoke...We could not wait that long! We stayed until 7:30 then headed out to see the christmas lights! We had been putting that off to the point it was now or never!

Well I hope everyones weekend is going well! It has been a long day and I am ready to crash! One more party tomorrow!

Sounds like fun in the dark - I bet you won't forget this party in a hurry! The RIP cake is great, even if a bit cruel haha!
