Well Happy New Year to All! We celebrated by going to the Rec Center. They had a family event going on here, last year was our 1st experience of it and this was my DH 1st time as he had to work last year! They have all these blow up things to play on! lots of fun for the kiddos! They had 750 people that attended the nights event, WOW!
Adam ran into his buddies, so he was happy though he was trying to look cool!;)
Yes I even did a little jumping action with Kedric and Jelena....lol!
Jelena got caught up with her friend and got face painting done!
Dh wanted to show his strength by trying to get to the end, which he did! as it pretty much flipped him back! It was crazy funny as it slings you back like a rubber band!
The Mayor ( my aunt) uncle and family just before midnight! Things were winding down!

Dh was sure to get a whistle to bring in the new year, the boys decided they were too annoying so they didnt want one;)
Jelena was all over the place and did some helping out!
At last we got home got the kiddos to bed and enjoyed a rasberry margarita in my new wine glasses I got for christmas! YUMMY!

Wow..isn't that a brilliant idea? I hate all the NY celebrations where thousands of people just dance like crazy in the crowded field doing nothing but listening to noisy music and do the countdown..especially I don't like crowd..so un-family friendly and I don't drink too. But family activities like this is something unheard of here on NY celebration. I wish somebody can organise this in our place!

Glad you had fun.. We have done the Rec about 3 or 4 times, This year we passed on it. Mr Man had a friend lined up to spend the night, Sweet Pea did also and Princess had two friends coming over after midnight to spend(the 3 of them went to a friend from youth group to a NYE party). ONLY Mr Man's friend got sick with the flu and couldn't make it so Mr Man was sort of bummed. In the afternoon NYE DH and the boys had a Wii tournament, while the girls and I went to the dollar movies and saw high school musical 3.. Then we came home picked up the house a bit and took Princess and friends to there party then picked up Sweet Pea's friend and started ours.. Little Man didn't go to bed till 2am, Mr Man at 3am, Sweet Pea and her friend passed out at 4am and Princess and her two friends were up until 4:30AM.. we all slept on new years day LOL.. I'm going to blog about NYE and NY's day sometime this week I just haven't had time to get to it yet.
