Weekend Recap

Well you would expect nothing less but another BUSY weekend from our home!
Friday after DH got back from work we had to take Adams Guitar in for service, yes already! Just a string was off I guess, just enough to have to drive 1 hr away to get it done though!
Saturday I had to work all day and My Brother n law was coming and bringing his new girlfriend and her son. We had a great visit and thought they were WONDERFUL! The little guy welcomed all of us lovingly! By the end of the evening he told Jelena he wished she was HIS sister and he even gave Adam a hug, Adam said " we bonded" and Kedric and him loved playing together and may hook up for a week this summer! ( they live a couple hrs away) Naturally I had to get some photos to share! I told them to get used to it it is traditional here! ;)

The 4 of us!

After everyone left I got right to work on taking down christmas! What a HUGE job! I worked till midnight and then planned to take the kids shopping sunday as they needed some tops for school! We got some GREAT bargains! Then we came home and Finally Did a little christmas with Marilyn! She enjoyed the children so much...

I hope everyone had a wonderful fun filled weekend! I guess Christmas vacation is officially over, Kids go back to school, I go back to work as I have had off on my other salon job, and well I need to get back to the christmas clean up, almost finished!

Cleaning up after Christmas is so hard. I think it is because it looks so pretty and then you have to all the pretty and memories away. I hope you it wasn't too difficult for you.

I finally finished the task of taking down Christmas things today. Now they are boxed up on the back porch and need to be moved out to the garage. Yet another task. Kind of Sad. I love the house all decorated.
