INSPIRED BY HGTV, DESIGN ON A DIME...
just a glimps of how Jelenas Room looked before, she had a palm tree beach scene... Her closet was painted from yellow to white! Ceiling stayed yellow!( scroll down the next 4 posts to really see all we did in her room)
My Wallpaperers, Mom and Dad! Dad does all the measuring and math work and mom does amazing pasting and matching up!
What a transformation from Blue walls with a beach scene to this!
My mom is so cheerful as she papers, while my dad has me on pins and needles wondering IF we will have enough! Sigh I think I gain several grey hairs with worrying about this! EVERYTIME! We did have JUST enough border and enough to paper her window seat so all was good! The walls were painted Lime Ricky 1 full wall and 3 half walls the paper filled the rest...
Jelena has quite a webkinz collection so we built her a custom made shelf for them! Now we HAD a fish net ( green) for all her stuffed animals but we downsized them and gave away some, good willed some and packed some up in the attic, Cuz in case you did not know they can take over a room REAL quick! So her webkinz are great to leave out... Notice I painted the bulletin board White with purple trim...
We bought her a full length mirror, notice her beads on the closet? my mom made the dresser scarves They are green with pink circles opposite of the pink with green circles,
We did move these round fluffy circle pillows to the window seat and mom made coordinating pillows with the left over fabric, I will have to take photos of them to show you... New Silky purple comforter set completes the look, along with her cute new purple lamp I just so happened to find at Target, it was on clearance , last one Cheap accented with beads on the shade, how perfect is that??? So NOW You have finally seen her room! below are posts of the details in the room!
