TRADITIONAL SUGAR COOKIES
COOKIESThis is a fabulous recipe everyone loves!
3/4 Cup Shortening
1Cup sugar
2 Eggs
1tsp. vanilla (plus I add a little almond flavoring)
2 1/2 Cups flour
1tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
Mix together shortening, sugar, eggs and flavoring. Blend in flour, baking powder and salt-
cover- chill at least 1 hr. roll out, cut- bake at 375 degrees watch till down!
FROSTING
3/4 Cup powdered sugar
4-5 Tbsp. Shortening And oleo (2tbsp)
vanilla and almond flavoring
milk
Whip till creamy
ENJOY!!!
