I feel so lost since (I have 2 kirby sweepers and used them heavily) My hoses are no longer for them! While 1 was outside I had just vacuumed the car for my dear husband and he was doing car work he ran over it, this was my new one! it is smashed and no longer of use!
the other i tried to latch on and the prong broke off....no good luck here! all within 2 months of each other this happened...I tried to borrow mom and dads and they don't know what happened tho theirs...I can't do any spring cleaning this way! I never though i could miss something so much! I am loosing my desire to clean anymore. My house is a wreck and it is showing more and more, my 5 yr old is trying to take over, that IS bad! I know it sounds crazy but I always used the hose on my hand and knees to vacuum the kitchen floor. I am not even going to lift the couch cushions up as I DON'T want to even know! I don't allow food in the living room, BUT on saturdays when I am working all day who knows what gets eaten where in my house. I have been known to find empty yogurt containers under the basement couch (sigh) NOT GOOD!
so I am asking if ANYONE out there in bloggers world have any idea as to where I can find a hose for at least one of my kirbys? i really need to get the older one reconditioned again, we had a problem with the wheel, while my dear husband has tried to temporarily fix it some time back it is not right I am sure it will cost me nothing under $200.00 when it is all said and done but now this is top priority on my list and I have no clue of any kirby dealers around anymore! All I know is I NEED to start the spring cleaning...I tried to buy a cheaper vaccum ( MUCH CHEAPER) so i could still have a hose temporaily but, well lets say it doesnt reach for much of anything! There is something to be said for a kirby i never appreciated them till NOW!
Help if you have any solution, thank you...

There is a Kirby dealer in the next town over from me and the phone number is 207-942-3170. They should be able to tell you where there is a dealer near you or else ship what you need from here. If there is anything I can do to help just let me know.

No really I was waiting in line to pick it up and looked over at the wall that had all these white papers taped to it and right there in front of me, the 1st thing I saw was your Son's Adams student of the month paper that he turned in to get his free pizza.. Don't know which month it was.. but Congrats to Adam for making student of the Month.
