Only 53 Days till christmas! Wow, That time will be here before you know it!
I found myself anxiously awaiting Halloween to be over so I could get out my small palm christmas tree on my porch! I bought this last year AFTER christmas So I had to wait a WHOLE year to get it out and I love it! It has lights on it too! My porch along with my home is getting a whole NEW christmas look this year! I am pretty excited about it and I Will be getting everything else out by Thanksgiving! I am not trying to rush the other holidays , it is just that I do not decorate much for the others...When will you be decorating?

I'm going to start taking the halloween stuff down and put up a few turkey stuff up but not much. I hope to have my christmas tree up and the fireplace decorated the day after thanksgiving and then get the rest of the stuff up shortly after that.

I've been banned from my Christmas cupboard by DH because he knows that it's around this time that I start itching to get the Christmas decorations out! LOL
If it was up to me I'd have my decorated for Christmas NOW but we usually decorate the first week in December.
I still have Christmas stuff up from last year...I love snowman!
I decorate the day after Thanksgiving. It's a tradition with our family.
The streets are full of xmas decoration already ;D
I will be putting up my window lights hopefully this week!Being from the country, I love the look of window candles in old houses! THere is just something warm and inviting about that! We are having thanksgiving here and I usually try to have everythign but the tree done~ Not sure what I will be doing this year!
